Welcome to our website! It's official...Malaker & Baransky has changed our name to the Steel Knives! It's the same Malaker & Baransky you've come to know and love, maybe a little edgier, a little darker. Our sound has taken a turn that has made it as much electronic as it is acoustic, and we've had a lot of fun experimenting with these changes. The Steel Knives is a reflection of this new direction and we hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. Don't forget to click on the player in the lower left corner to hear some of our original music!

NEPA Indie Artists and Musicians' Benefit for Local Homeless and Children's Charities
On Sunday, April 11, the Steel Knives will be participating in the NEPA Indie Artists and Musicians' Benefit at the Judge 'n Jury, 503 Linden Ave., Scranton. Donations are $10 at the door, $5 for those donating non-perishable food and/or clothing. There will be plenty of food and music as well as an art show featuring the work of several area artists. All donations will go to the Bethel Shelter on Wyoming Ave. in Scranton and all proceeds from art sales will go to the Ronald McDonald House.
